Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during financial statement audits.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and properly documented.
- Conduct variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred but not mandatory for highly experienced candidates.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
