Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes
- Maintain accurate client accounting records and prepare tax documentation
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100)
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and audit procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing and team collaboration
- Experience with multi-state compliance and regulatory reporting
