Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership and investors
- Lead internal control initiatives and SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing SOX compliance and internal controls
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Proven track record of process optimization and cost reduction
