Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex reconciliations for multi-entity accounts and payroll systems
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for key stakeholders
- Maintain digital financial records using advanced ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Ohio tax regulations and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
