Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and month-end closing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for stakeholders and executive leadership
- Lead audit processes and ensure SOX compliance across all financial activities
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and optimize processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate records in NetSuite and other financial systems
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/Sage strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex financial data
