Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement budget forecasting models for diverse industry clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Provide strategic tax planning support and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize financial reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing cross-functional finance projects
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Proactive problem-solving approach and client management skills
