Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning
- Coordinate internal/external audits and implement financial controls
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow management
- Develop financial models and ad-hoc reports for executive leadership
- Maintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations and SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/private sector
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven experience with financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry preferred
