Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with GAAP compliance
- Manage financial reporting packages for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Lead accounts payable/receivable optimization and cash flow analysis
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations and filing requirements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and develop departmental SOPs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in financial systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Proven track record of managing complex reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
