Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Implement and optimize internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax preparation
- Lead process improvement initiatives using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience in month-end closing and reconciliations
