- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with SOX compliance focus
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial systems
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and cost optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven leadership in managing accounting teams and projects
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
