Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Prepare and submit accurate tax returns while ensuring compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis for multiple departments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts
- Implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing accounting teams or mentoring junior staff
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
