Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end close
- Prepare financial statements and compliance reports for executive stakeholders
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Lead audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Enterprise and ERP systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing financial audits and compliance processes
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior accounting staff
- Excellent communication skills for executive stakeholder interactions
