Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance and month-end closing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities
- Lead process improvement initiatives for financial systems
- Mentor junior accounting staff and supervise accounts payable/receivable
- Develop financial models for forecasting and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA skills
