Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing for diverse client portfolios
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis reports for strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and tax preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Excellent communication abilities to present complex financial insights to stakeholders
