Your Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee key financial functions, manage month-end close processes, and provide strategic insights to the finance leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Oversee the payroll function and ensure accurate employee compensation processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
