Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Manage general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing functions
- Coordinate external audits and ensure adherence to internal controls
- Develop and implement financial reporting systems for improved accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and NY tax regulations
- Proven experience managing month-end closes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
