Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure accurate cash flow management
- Prepare and file tax documents while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Lead cross-departmental financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
