Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, month-end/year-end closings, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Implement and improve internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Experience with tax preparation and compliance reporting
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or CIA) strongly preferred
