Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for executive review
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize working capitalEnsure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry regulations
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement process improvements for financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing complex financial reporting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory filings
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder presentations
