Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems and controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead special projects including tax filings and regulatory reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
