Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and filings.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support budget preparation and perform variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
