Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during the annual review process.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal and state tax requirements.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
