In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic financial planning. You will work closely with department heads to provide accurate financial data and insights.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and perform variance analysis against actuals.
- Conduct internal audits and prepare necessary documentation for external auditors.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
