Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage complex account reconciliations and variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting initiatives
- Ensure internal controls are documented and effective
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
- Proven experience with SOX compliance audits
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
