Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate month-end close processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and compliance procedures
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental operations
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance expertise
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience with financial reporting and month-end close
