Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and process improvements
- Conduct in-depth financial modeling and variance analysis for strategic decision support
- Oversee tax compliance filings and manage external auditor relationships
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and SOX compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize financial reporting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech or finance sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA/macros a plus)
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong leadership experience with cross-functional collaboration
- CA CPA license required
