We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage critical financial operations and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger maintenance
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal/state tax regulations
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Maintain internal controls for financial systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance (CA/FED)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-state financial reporting
