Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and account analysis to ensure data accuracy.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the annual audit process by preparing necessary schedules and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows and internal controls.
- Prepare and file various tax returns and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or CPA Candidate status is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
