Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliation.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and budgeting processes.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on financial software.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
