Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and maintain compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during the annual review process.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
