Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct comprehensive bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable audits.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support budget planning processes.
- Maintain up-to-date financial policies and procedures documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
