Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with 98%+ accuracy
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for executive review
- Implement and maintain internal controls for SOX compliance
- Lead tax preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff through quarterly training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Oregon state tax regulations
- Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
