Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, budgets, and variance reports.
- Ensure accurate general ledger maintenance and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in external audit preparations and coordinate with auditors.
- Implement and improve internal controls and accounting policies to mitigate risk.
- Provide technical guidance and training to the accounting department staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
