Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing.
- Support budget preparation and provide financial forecasting to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
