Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the general ledger and financial reporting processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during their annual reviews.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Streamline accounting workflows and implement best practices for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
