Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely vendor and client payments.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliation of bank accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations in Georgia.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
