Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records through month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and operational budgets in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform complex account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and tax filings by providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, GAAP, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
