Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 SMB clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Lead quarterly tax preparation and ensure compliance with IRS/Nevada regulations
- Implement process improvements using automation tools like Bill.com and Expensify
- Consult clients on financial optimization strategies and KPI monitoring
- Collaborate with audit teams during annual financial reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with remote work proficiency
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel with advanced functions
- Nevada state tax compliance knowledge (NRS 360)
- Proven experience managing high-volume transaction processing
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong client communication and presentation abilities
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/Sage a plus)
