Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for departmental initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Implement process improvements using accounting software systems
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record in financial reporting and analysis
- Remote work experience preferred
