Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct comprehensive account reconciliations and internal control audits
- Develop and implement financial models for forecasting and budgeting processes
- Collaborate with tax department to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize departmental workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 a plus)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, FASB standards, and Oregon tax regulations
- Proven experience in financial reporting, audits, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
