Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex reconciliations for multi-entity balance sheets and intercompany transactions
- Lead month-end closing processes with accurate journal entries and variance analysis
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and SOX compliance reviews
- Develop and implement process improvements using ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining robust internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing SOX compliance and internal controls
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
- Active Arizona CPA license or commitment to obtain within 6 months
