Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex month-end and year-end close processes
- Lead internal control audits and compliance documentation
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (including macros)
- Proven experience with financial reporting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
