Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead audit engagements and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Provide tax planning and compliance support for corporate clients
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize accounting workflows
- Utilize advanced Excel and accounting software for data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and audit procedures
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Proven track record of process improvement
- Texas CPA license required
