Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and account reconciliations for various accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and variance analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize financial processes and internal controls.
- Prepare tax filings and support external audits as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
