Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Lead audits for Fortune 500 aerospace clients
- Implement GAAP-compliant accounting systems
- Analyze variance reports for operational efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants on technical standards
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial planning
- Ensure SOX compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years public accounting experience
- Advanced Excel and QuickBooks Pro expertise
- Aerospace industry knowledge preferred
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Active Kansas CPA license
