Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee audit processes and maintain SOX documentation
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive reporting
- Lead process improvement initiatives in accounting workflows
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with FP&A on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- CPA certification mandatory
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle Financials and Excel
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven ability to lead complex accounting projects
