Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Manage general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain fixed asset schedules.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and local California tax regulations.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and variance analysis.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Support external audits and internal control implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
