Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Monitor budgets and forecasts to identify variances and provide strategic recommendations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial reports to stakeholders.
