Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and assist with internal and external audits.
- Analyze financial data to prepare variance reports and provide actionable insights to management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
