Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger functions, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to improve operational efficiency and financial controls.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor the annual budget.
- Prepare financial reports for management and external stakeholders as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively present financial data.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
